ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) is a unique non-university research center which is dedicated to the subject dementia and all its areas, as well as other neurodegenerative diseases.
The Light Microscopy Facility at DZNE in Bonn (LMF), www.dzne.de/forschung/core-facilities/light-microscope-facility/, offers a collection of state of the art equipment to scientist from the DZNE and visitors
We are looking for individuals with a high motivation to work in a service oriented team. Experience with 2Photon intravital microscopy and fluency in English is required. A graduate degree (Bachelor or higher or equivalent) in natural sciences or engineering science is considered a benefit. Further experience in engineering, applied optics, and advanced light microscope techniques like total internal reflection microscopy, stereology, laser microdissection, spinning disk microscopy, or single plain illumination microscopy is preferred, but not essential.
